The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Mumbai has released an official notification for Income Tax Mumbai Recruitment 2026 under Sports Quota. A total of 97 vacancies are announced for Stenographer Grade-II, Tax Assistant, and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Stenographer Grade-II: 12th Class Pass or equivalent from a recognized board
Tax Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent
Note: Recruitment is strictly for Meritorious Sportspersons as per DoPT norms.

Sports relaxation applicable only if educational qualification is fulfilled
