UPSC CAPF AC Recruitment 2026 Notification Out – Apply Online for 349 Assistant Commandant Posts
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant (AC) Recruitment 2026 Notification for 349 vacancies. Candidates interested in serving in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) can apply online through the official website.
The online application process started on 20 February 2026 and will continue until 12 March 2026 (6:00 PM). Eligible candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree and fall within the 20–25 years age limit can apply for the post of Assistant Commandant (Group A).
The UPSC CAPF AC 2026 Exam will be conducted on 19 July 2026.

UPSC CAPF AC 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Candidates must be:
A citizen of India
Subjects of Nepal or Bhutan may also apply with approval of the Government of India.
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university established by:
Central/State Legislature
Institution established by an Act of Parliament
Deemed University under the UGC Act, 1956
Candidates who are appearing in their final year examination in 2026 can also apply.
However, candidates must submit proof of passing the degree examination within the time limit specified in the recruitment rules.
